Jennifer and Mark Kyrnin have worked with computers nearly all their lives. Jennifer learned to program on a TRS-80 while Mark started out on an Apple 2e. They have since switched with Mark on a Windows PC and Jennifer preferring Macintosh, and they have passed their computer love on to their son.
Jennifer writes fiction about trees and computers. She has written seven non-fiction books about Web Design, HTML, XML, and web development both online and off. She has also created several videos for learning Web Development.
Mark is a network engineer at a global corporation and keeps his friends up-to-date in gaming laptops and peripherals.

Sierra, daughter of the dryad Matriarch of the Pacific Northwest Dryad grove, would much rather program computers than hug trees. But when her grove is faced with fiery destruction, she has to learn how to use her computer skills to save them, while also convincing her technophobic family to allow it. When she ends up bonding with a digital tree, no one knows what's going to happen.
